school year warning/ticket thing? I am gonna be parking in River Lot while I am at work and/or staying at some friends' places in hoboken so I don't have to drive back down to south Jersey every night.
I remember they were always hard asses at the beginning of the year to try and scare all the people away who didn't have passes but after that it was easy going especially down by river lot. Still the same?

Hey buddy..
Well.. If you havent been up here lately - River Lot is kind of, well, lets say, under water in the Hudson River. About 20 spots, 10 on one side of the lot, and 10 on the other side of the lot, have fallen into the River.
I had my car parker their over the weekend, didn't get a ticket, but I noticed today that they are worried about parking. They opened up the Babbio center garage because they ran out of room. I havent seen any tickets on cars yet, you may be good for a few days, but I wouldn't park their for more then 4-5 days.
Lots of NEW cops this year too. The turnover rate for the Stevens PD is insane. I can say this though. Getting a Stevens ticket is cheaper then a Hoboken ticket.
I dont know if that helped.. I personally would risk it, but as I said, for only a few days. If you get the ticket.. just go to the cops and say you were helping someone move in or something.

Yeah I think I will only be parked there 1-2 nights at a time...I may even be able to try and score
an overnight pass from someone every now and again.
That sucks about river lot although i knew it was a matter of time. I am glad to see babbio finally opened considering they started the work on it spring of my freshman year (I graduated in spring '05).
I think the last time I was up in Hoboken was the spring unfortunately. I wanna bring the a4 up sometime and head over to edgewater on a thursday night but I think my beater will be my only car up there during the week. If I do end up bringing the a4 up we should get together for a little skyline photo-op.
