So...post all the BS I went through with the coolant etc etc.. (edited)
I was at close to six seconds (5.7) on k03's with APR 100 oct software and race gas (one 4.66 which was an anomoly never to be repeated, must have been going downhill over the 'causeway).
Pulled three consistent 5.00x on k04's with 93 software.
Mission accomplished. Next up...fueling...looking to knock another second off that time. I want low 4 seconds. Considering Revolver cams...and EPL custom tuning...(gotta do some more V1's and RS4 mesh..maybe sell a nut or two)
On a lighter note...Who were the three musketeers in the A6 waiving me on out at the beach? One minute you were in front of me...byt ten cars and next minute you were bhind me by twenty!!
Ocean Pky rules...with the exception of the bugs..it was like Jim Carey on the bike in Me, Myself & Irene..thwap, thwap thwap, thwap..my front end is a mess..can't see a thing out my windshield.
That is all, thanks for reading.
APR should be at 5.0x - 5.1x...so I am on target.
At this point, I refuse to defect from APR, The extra .x seconds isn't worth the change.
And, I'll bet after tonight, with all that junk out of the trunk, less fuel and lower IAT's (the **** in the trunk and the 3/4 tank is estimated at nearly 150 lbs) I should easily break 5 seconds... a 4.8x would be nice.
Does this look familiar?? Straight and flat...

If you don't like the beach, you can use Sunrise out east..around Medford...it's wide open and you can see for a good distance.
What does CAPS stand for, and how do you do it? FATS is a third gear pull encompassing 4200 - 6500 RPM at WOT. About 50/60 to 90mph. Of course I have never gone that fast... The VAG-COM data is dropped into any of a couple of excel sheets floating round and the exact time is calc'd. Since VAG-COM has a fairly low sampling rate, RPM's below 4200 and above 6500 need to be interpolated to get the time stamps exactly at the right RPM..
