So they tried to steal my A6 last night...
Called the cops to get the police report. They will send another team to collect the finger prints.
Repair cost between $500-$1000 + tow truck + 3-5 days w/o the car.
It really sucks to see that someone tried to steal my car.
Is there an alarm system that can be integrated with whatever my car has? I don't want to carry around 2 remotes.
I know that alarm won't help much but at least my car will honk or do something when someone is trying to steal it (sometimes).
Other than ignition there is no damage to the car, nothing taken from the car.

In this case they still would have punched the door and the columm. (BTDT)
Chances are the little alarm in the Audi did go off nut as usual it was ignored and then shut off. What you need is a much Louder Alarm.
FYI: My repair turned out to be over $2K (Geico paid non chargable) Not only did the door have to be redone and the lock cylinder, but the internals of the column had to be replaced as they did not damage just the cylinder, but the electronics in the system got fried when they shorted out the lock by punching it.
Then ad to it new keys, recoding, etc.
I actually had Anchor Audi do this one. They did all the 'Audi' work and subed out the body work.
