I was listening to the live reports from 5 years ago (9-11). Turned it off to stream Howard, and I had to listen to HIS live report... I can't believe how different the world is now.. It's really depressing.

SOOO many lives were taken. Soooo many more were effected.
RIP.

The black+white differences:
-gas was cheap.
-our country wasn't at war.
-madass husein was still in power.
-i could drive to the airport, park, get checked in, and get on a domestic flight- all in less than an hour.
-said domestic flight, would only cost me $99 roundtrip
-nobody really used the word insurgent.
-the skyline in ny

A suspicious package left at Penn caused them to shut it down,

and no trains were allowed in. I was west of Jamaica and stuck, thankfully it was nothing.

Still spooky on the anniversary.

The weather today reminds me a lot of that day, coming out the subway exit had the same brisk clear feel as it did those 5 yrs ago.
