Worst 4 days of my life to date

I have been fortunate to now but I can say these past few days have truly tested me. I thought I had found the love of my life. Many of you guys knew that I was engaged to be married, as of this weekend that is no more. I dont want to get into details because as you guys can imagine I write this post in great sadness. I just need to let it out though so I guess I am just looking for anyone that will listen. I am lucky that it happened now and not after the wedding or else things would have been really messy. Anyway after this week all will be cancelled the receptions hall, band, and photographer. Now I have to find the time to work on me, to heal first of all and then work of moving on. This is just so big and hurt is huge. Anyway enough with that. I will see you guys around.

my only advice at this point, is do not deviate from your everyday routine... business as usual, if not it my harbour itself in your mind and body and fall into depression etc.

I don't know you, but--very sorry to hear it man. But, you are right, you are lucky you found out now rather than later. The divorce process would probably have been a lot worse, not to mention the awkwardness of severing (probably) relationships with all in-laws. And, just remember, there's plenty of tuna in the sea. Go for a nice ride in the Audi... that might help a little.

I can imagine the pain that can inflict.....Sorry to hear about this Paolo. I remember you...

mentioning to me that you were engaged. You're right though, better now than later.

One of my best friends growing up had gotten married shortly after his girlfriend had gotten pregnant. After she had the kid, he realized right off the bat that it wasn't his kid....for OBVIOUS reasons. Fortunately he was able to get an annulment, but that was after everything had been said & done. So you can imagine how much of a mess that was. I wish you the best brother.
