Default My new Q7 and EZ Pass don't mix!
Just picked up my 2007 Q7 today and I love it. But coming home, I was stopped at both EZ Pass tolls because my pass didnt register with the booth. Some some articles about cars with metallized windshields now? Has anyone else with a Q7 experienced this? Any answers to this issue?

Default get the EZpass for the front license plate.
The new 7-series and S-Class have this issue with transponders not being read through the windshields.

Default those apparently suck too...
i had problems with my internal one (altho likely from speeding tho i doubt it). I asked about the external one and alot of people told me it sucked.

Default they only suck if you hit them a lot while parking etc. hah
Looks like I may take a job in the turnpike operations center soon.. I only had a taste of all this stuff last summer. think of all the crap I'll learn.

Default or if you have brush guards.
i had brush guards on my pathfinder and it wouldnt work with it, even though the ezpass wasnt anywhere near them...

The lane departure thingy sets off radar detectors too. If you are ever in traffic near a Q7 w/ this feature, your RD will go bannanas.
