Best snow tires for A4 2005 Avant?

I have the Michelin Pilots on now but want to purchase snow tires! HELP!!!!

if youre looking for snows with a bit of performance for spirited driving when

the roads arent terrible go with the Blizzak LM-22's or LM-25's they cost a bit more than the rest but are well worth it...

and you'll get years out of them using them only in the winters. I had a set of LM-22's on for a full year and they hardly wore at all during the summer (100*F+ and 2-3hr roadtrips on them too)

theyre also rated for 130mph.

Blizzaks

I've had Bridgestone Blizzaks on my 04 S4 and have gone through all sorts of bad snow with no problems. The dry road performance is great, with good straight-line stability and low noise.

Hankooks are great tire an very inexp.

people that have had Dunlop 3D's and Hankooks say they Hankooks are 95% of the perfromance at 1/3 the price. So far dry handling is comparable to the Falken's I have on for the summer, a bit more noise, but not terrible. Wet handling was excellent but no snow in Northeast yet to evaulate them. The Colorado guys gave them high marks though in the recent blizzards.
