So...1st day of classes and this is what it says on the Syllabus for my MEC/Physics class(more)

"The facts from the Fall 2006 semester in PHY 132 : The F grade was received by 26.6% of registered students at the end of the Fall semester. 56.3% of all resistered students received grades lower than C (i.e. F,D, and C-)."

Nice way to start off the day..... = ( 56%!!!!!!!!! GOT BELOW A C AND 26% FAILED WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

26% didn't show for class and 56% showed up when they had nothing better to do....

Besides... many more people fail out in the fall, 1st semester can be a real shocker.

Gotta balance your drinking with your chick chasing or you will never find time to borrow some else's notes from class.

I guess that would be a rude reality check for those who thought they wanted to major in physics...

those stats are dismal for a 100 level course.....

The professor who teaches that course is clearly trying to weed out those who are cut out for that subject matter.... I doubt that course is a requirement for a general Bach. of science degree, or else they would not fail so many students..
