I am told this image is one that wildlife'rs go years trying to capture but rarely do..It's called a "Talon-lock". The top bird is an immature Eagle which had just caught a fish and the bottom is a mature challenging the juvi for the catch.. The mature was basically in an inverted free fall (wings don't generate lift when upside down and stalled). It was a very gray day and this is very aggressively cropped even though I shot it with an effective focal length of 630mm.

Ultimately, neither held on the catch...
