.....exactly why I'm outta here...soon hopefully.
It's days like today when I ask myself the question "why do you put up with cold, rainy, uncomfortable, completely ****ty weather when there's people in other places not very far from here who are taking their lunch breaks in 80 degree gleaming sunshine every day of the year?"

i do not mind this. i just noticed that i haven't seen the sun these past few days.
the changing seasons is what makes us strong and unique. i noticed that my friends who moved from here to CA have embraced the culture and have become such softies.

my point exactly.
Don't get me wrong, I love NYC and this area. If I could retire today and just live, I'd be fine. But being in the "corporate environment" every day, especially one dealing with people's $$, I've come to realize that the "pace" at which this area moves is just way too much for me. The job market it saturated with college kids willing to be underpaid just to get a job, commuting anywhere in the AM just sucks, and I honestly feel like most people in this area just have generally ****ty attitudes towards life. I need to deal with laid-back people who realize that there's more to life than their $ or what goes on between 9 and 5.

and I wont argue it, since I agree.
Im having an awful few months here in my corp hell like enviornment so now is a bad time for me to defend this pace and lifestyle....
all I know for sure, is as long as my entire family is still around, leaving is not an option.
