Does anyone have Dahlback software on their car?
I'm thinking of using their software for my K04 setup on my A4, but I can't find anyone else who has it on the B6 1.8t engine in that setup. So I'm reaching out to you B5 S4 guys and whoever else have it on their cars. I'm looking for any feedback you can provide; good, bad, or indifferent. I would like to get an idea of the quality of the software and how it works with the car.
The car will be a daily driver, hence why only the K04 and not a monster BT setup. On KMD's website, it seems that in order to assertain the power listed you need to use all Dahlback stuff (exhaust, turbo, etc), but I already have a K04 and Milltek exhaust. So obviously I need to talk to KMD first, but I just wanted to get some feedback on the quality of the software. TIA

I have DBR software on my TT. Overall I think the software is good and gives alot of power. BUT....for one, its a solder-in chip....not flashed which kinda sucks. Two, there are no dedicated race files...which also sucks. Saying that you need all DBR stuff is insane....which is why Im dropping Dahlback from my car altogether. The lack of a dealer network is also downright scary. Atleast if Im running GIAC there are dealers nation-wide with support....unlike Dahlback.

That is kind of lame. I never planned on buying all their stuff as I have a K04, injectors, etc from my last car, which are all in perfectly good condition. I was just wondering because they are the closest tuner to me, and frankly the APR that I had on my last car was ****. MTM is my other option, but I need to plan it out as its 3 days without the car, which is tough with work, etc.
Aside from the lack of a flash and race files, did you like it for the time you had it? And what will you be replacing it with, if you don't mind me asking?

As I said...the software has been fine.
Im going BT in the TT and going with APR. Keep in mind the network of dealers. If you're stuck in VT with a car that doesnt drive....atleast there are APR and GIAC dealers nearby.
