Valet Key and display in my '08 B7 A4

Default Valet Key and display in my '08 B7 A4

Has anyone used there valet key and had the temp display show up in centigrade????
I tried to change it back but couldnt figure out how. Using the blade key its all back to normal...

I used the valet key when skiing the past few days.

any idea?

Default i would not know. dealer never gave me a set of valet keys. AoA said that they were not required to

do so.

Default I have my 15k service coming up so I'm going to ask. it doesnt take

away from the car at all, i just need to realize at 20* its really like 68f.. (climate control)

Default do me a favor and try it, just start the car and see if anything on the display is different.

I have started my car with my valet key it is fine no messages or lights

all the temps read in F* and not C*, mine switches with the valet key. weird.

Default Actually, and maybe this wouldn't be the case anyway but...

You know how the two different key fobs hold different settings? So that if you have the heat on 72*F on one fob, and 68*F on the other, the car will set to that temp when that fob is used to drive the car. I wonder if the valet key has something like that as well. The setting (i.e. C to F) can be changed via VAG-COM (not sure if you have access to one), so maybe see, with the valet key in, if you can change the temp setting to F. IDK, maybe that'll work.
