the dings and dents all around my car would give him a coronary

Damn...that $43 won't even cover the time needed to fix the scratches the appraiser put into the

paint! I think I would have stopped him when he showed up with napkins to wipe the paint. Nice of him to go through the trouble so he can clearly see the damage, but "no thank you, I'll do it myself and bring it back!".

That sucks...I've had body shops do the same (well, except that napkin thing), but usually on panels that have to be resprayed or replaced. I still cringe, even if the panel is being replaced!
