been a member of AW for a while now, just found this section now...

how many people are in located in NOVA?? preferrably with a B5 S4 Sedan... i'm looking into getting an exhaust and am torn between borla and ASP... if you have either, i'd like to hear them in person, video/sound clips do no justice to first hand experience!!! thanks in advance fellas!

My buddy has a Borla on his B5 S4.

Too bad he's in Houston, otherwise you could get a ride to hear it. It sounds really nice. Aggressive enough to put a smile on your face, yet still quiet enough that you don't go through your neighborhood sounding obnoxious.

I'm putting a Borla on my 3.0 in two weeks. You're welcome to hear it after I put it on. Sure, the 3.0 is no 2.7T, but stock for stock, the three engines (2.7T, 2.8, and 3.0) don't sound all that different. I think the firing order is the same which gives them the similarities.

yeah, him being in houston does suck... of all the sound clips i've heard though, i

really think i'm gonna lean toward ASP, it sounds so clean... but after reading in the B5 S4 section here, a lot of people really like their Borla exhausts... but complain about drone between 2k-3krpm... most of my driving is done on the highway, and at that rpm... so i'm not really feeling the drone... but i haven't read very many reviews on ASP... its like $300 more on most of the places i've seent that sells them www.autospeedperformance.com & www.startupracing.com are the only two that i can find really... and i haven't seen very many go on sale used..
