Greetings from VIR North Paddock...
Having a fun time down here in Danville... Sunir is putting the first miles on his new engine (old one spun a bearing at Summit Point last month) Dyno shows him around 259hp at the wheels on his 3.2L with Sunbelt cams.
CDOC bought up the Oak Tree Pro Shop (VIR's "gift shop") and have stocked it will all sorts of new goodies. KJ, etc., next time your down here check out the Porsche GT3 Cup wheel studs they have. Apparently for IMSA they have to run 5 studs instead of the single nut, and these things are gorgeous, made by ARP. Too bad they cost $22 each... that comes to about $480 for a set for the A4 :-( So bling and functional though.
Anyway time to rotate the wheels and do a brake bleed on the car. Tomorrow I go out for the first time in my own car, granted it's only touring laps, but hey, I'm on a budget here ;-)
