Anyone here a member of Fitness First (in either Tysons or DC)?

I'm thinking about joining but wanted to see if anyone here has had a positive or negative experience with them.

I was a member there for a little while..

its a nice clean gym that has a lot of good equipment... very cheap as well. I thought it was little too cramped, but other than that, its great for the money.

Yeah, it seems like a decent value...

My most recent visit to the gym was much like being at a used car dealership.

At first the initiation fee was $199, then it was $125, and then finally $99.

I like the gym and its much more affordable than other gyms. It doesnt seem to be lacking in anything and the staff is friendly.

fitness first member can use all fitness first facilities...

I love the one we have here in Germantown. I also use the one off Queen's Orchard in Gaithersburg.

They're well kept, and well ventilated. They have minimum amenities and trainers but they are also one of the cheapest place around.

I don't know about DC/VA ones but the ones here gets really crowded before and after work hour.

Im a member in Maryland...

Its a great deal!! Cant find any other gym that has a fair amouth of equipment and classes for anywhere near the price!!!

A lot of people say it doesnt have much but I have always found everything I needed. Given, if you want a place with a pool and like basketball courts or something then keep looking. But, if you just want a gym with weights, cardio area and some classes available then you cant beat the price.
