Got a warning ticket 90min ago for 138mph in a 65

Light traffic on a four lane section of I-85 never saw the Sheriffs Deputy or where he was. After slowing down for traffic in front of me glanced in the rearview mirror and noticed a car pretty close on my tail so I signalled right and tried to move out of the way but he followed, its then when I noticed the Police Cruiser and on came the lights, lucky I was doing about 78 at that time in the 65. So I pulled over, was polite did all that is recommended in such a case, hands on the wheel, window open, turned on my dome light and only reached for my wallet after being asked. Officer was real nice and after looking at my licence asked if I had the car long, why no I said a few months, came back 10min later with the warning and I was on my way. LUCKY, LUCKY, LUCKY.

sounds more like he clocked at 78 in a 65

NO cop will let you off for 72 over.

Glad to hear that it turned out about as well as it could, being that you got pulled over anyway.

I've been nabbed by a Sherrif before, but he gave me a warning and let me off too. It's the Highway Patrol that you need to worry about.

Glad to hear you got home safe and without a ticket. I guess you'll be wanting that radar detector for the drive up to Waterfest? :-D
