Launch Techniques
I pretty much pump the gas, get a good vacuum going, and then drop the hammer on the upswing around 3500 RPM. That will give you an engagement point right around max torque and your off. The trick is to try and ease the clutch engagement, just not slam it down, otherwise, you might bog the engine and you've already lost.
On the otherhand, it's a chore not to cook the clutch or overpower it, as it can be done rather easily. I'd practice a few times to see if you can get the feel, but I wouldn't heat up or glaze the clutch before your runs, so just be careful.
And run her up to redline each time.
