CD Error

CD Error

So I was driving today and i hit the CD change button and then an Error came up on the deck. It is a Symphony system with the 6 disc in dash. The error i got was Error 3 i looked in the manual and it said that it was a magazine issue. I am assuming the changer is jammed. I am going to go to my dealer tomorrow and see what they can do. Do any of you guys have any expirence with what needs to be done to fix it? I am driving to Salt Lake City this weekend and i really hope it works for the trip. XM gets a bit boring after a while.

I had the same error in my '99 A4 (6 disc in trunk). The dealership gave me a new cd player......

under warranty.

They will most likely give you a new head unit.

i had that issue in my mother's A4, it turned out that a cd with a label on it jamed

Had that problem a couple of times in my A6 4.2. They will swap the deck out for you. Just another problem with the Bose deck. They are junk

I have had some cd labels cause me some problems in the past as well. . .

didn't get an error, but it seems to cause some distortions in the sound.

I went to the dealer first thing this morning and they said to bring the car in this afternoon and they would give me a loaner, they were going to figure it out and it they needed to they would overnight a new deck in for me so that i will have it for my trip down to SLC this weekend. I like audi service.
