Try'em out. For the price i don't think you will find better if you are looking for a wheel to beat up at the track.<ul><li><a href="http://www.acealloywheel.com/main.htm">http://www.acealloywheel.com/main.htm</a</li></ul>

Default HRE C Series.... Lightest thing ever....

Run them in a 18x8.5 and they weight less then 18lbs!!!! That includes mounting hardware. Most companies only weight the rims, hre provides you with extremely lightweight hardware with this new type of rims. The next lightest are some of the stronger cast wheels. Not many 3 piece forged rims are in that very low digits like the HRE's.

Default We should have a new track wheel out next month

We are working on a new 17x8 et 32 track wheel. Its not stylish but strong and weighs in at only 15lbs. I am supposed to have the first sample for test fitting next week.

Default Yes, but most of us don't want to bang up HRE's on the track. Good for show but not go.IMHO.

It may be just me but i would not want to take a chance on damaging $3-6K in wheels on the track. Just me though. But if you like to take the chance more power to ya.

Man i would be pissed to get a blow out on the track with HRE's on.

Default but at least you will be able to fix them for free or very inexpenivly....

I beat the hell out of my rims and there isnt a single mark on them. the HRE's are extremely strong. I was gonna get Superleggra's but decided I would rather spend more money for something I knew wouldnt bend. Plenty of other companies out there who make light weight race rims cost about the same as HRE's.

Default Although true, that to me was what they were designed for.

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/17215/dojo_exit_turn_12.jpg"></center><p>I run them at the track and love them.

the reduction in unsprung weight is awesome!

Sure you spend 5K on rims alone and that is a concern, but b/c they are 3 piece SHOULD something go wrong YOU CAN replace just that piece.

here's a pic of mine on the ol s4. I love em. but see your point.
