Cruise Control...

I was driving on the Parkway last night and decided to try out the cruise control. It worked perfectly, but I found myself starting to drift off to sleep immediately. I lasted about two minutes. This has to be the dumbest option to put on a performance car. Why would Audi include this as an option and not rain sensing wipers (my 2001 VW GTI had the wipers) ?

Just wondering if any S4 drivers use the CC on a regular basis - maybe I am missing something?

helps me from speeding and sometimes just to give my foot a break on long drives.

and oh btw, I hated the CC on my B5. This one is light years ahead of that.

i wouldnt want auto wipers.....

when driving fast its better not to have them on. I would hate it if they just turned on, it would drive me nuts.

didn't use it once on my B5 and haven't used it yet on my B6

I could see it's value on long trips, but I just like my foot on the gas at all times for a complete feel of control.

Well APR uses the CC controls for their chips, so it will have a use eventually 8 ^ )

BMW and VW have the option to turn them off. Personally I would love them during certain stroms....

when the rain is hard one minute and light the next.

These are the ones I am talking about....

You decide to turn the wipers on, they will adjust based on your speed and amount of rain....

I only used that setting in my old VW..
