Service Dots - yellow, green, etc

I think so too. I think that the TSB and dots are related too.
I think that if there is a build change, some type of engineering or design change to the engine, then a dot goes on the intake manifold in order to reference it's "up-to-date-ness". :-D
Basically, if you have the yellow dot, then that means that the engine was tweaked, most likely, the bolts were tightened to a certain spec. And every engine that goes out of the factory will now have the yellow dot. Just shows that it is the most up to date and current on production. If there is another design change, say, we are using different gaskets now...then a new dot will appear on new engines. Instead of a yellow dot, there will be a single purple dot, for instance.
I have a red, green, and yellow dot now. That means that my engine has had three seperate TSB's, or services in order to make it up to date to the current engine design.

Maybe my red dot was a white dot? I can't remember for sure.
The car's at the dealer, so I can't look. But I think you might be right.
But I did have a green dot for sure, and another colored dot. The yellow was added as I was standing there.
I wish I knew what each one stood for. At least we know what the yellow dot represents.
