ok so it looked like **** but you get the idea.
I am going to tint my avant and need to figure out (as I know it's been discussed in the past) what percentage and see pics.
Looking for nothing dark, just a subtle 35% or somewhere around the 28% number, not black, but noticable and you get the idea.
also wanted to ask b/c IIRC there was a point made that the car already has "some" level of tint on it so if you got 35% it's really like getting 30% b/c there's a 5% tint that comes with the car type thing.

wow, that's cheap.
I'm in on a group buy that's going down here in Seattle, and it's normally 289 and I'm getting it done in 2 weeks for 220 (not bad, but 160 is really good!).
I have an avant,so that might make a diff too...

yeah, you have more windows, so it's probably more expensive, but $160 is pretty reasonable
it's not solarguard (or whomever everyone swears by), it's a smaller tint manufacturer, but it has a lifetime warranty, etc. and is also treated with a scratch resistor.

35 percent...but it came from the dealer like that. If I were to do it with Accutint, I'd go 35 percent for rear passenger and cargo, with 50% for driver and front passenger. That's what I'm getting for the track trainer.
And you said you didn't what a tint! Heh. I just have to WONDER what else is going to happen to that Avant.
Also: Are you going to get the metallic tint? McDonald's Automotive had a non-metallic Madico tint put on mine. It has a lifetime guarantee. I believe the 3M tint that Accutint applies has that as well. Metallic tint = bad for a.m. reception apparently. For me, it only matters for (pathetic) M's and (better) Seahawks coverage. Sadly for you, there is no (hated) Yanqui coverage in Seattle, so it might not matter at all!
