Alarm question. can I set the alarm so that the motion

detector is not activated - so we can leave the dog in the car for a few minutes (windows cracked in shade, blah blah blah etc).

Re: Yup... switch next to trunk release in door. Have to do it everytime though.

Setup on S4 is much better than on my A6. If a fly as much as farted in my A6, it would set off

the motion detector. I could not leave the moon roof open for fear that a slight breeze would activate the motion sensor. Too often I would let my dog in the car for a short time with windows open.If I forgot to disable the motion sensor, the dog would always set it off. This does not happen with the S4. I leave the dog in the car and it does not trip the motion sensor.( 40lb dog)

Re: There is no more interior sensor... that's why.

There is still the anti tow away sensor (which is the one I was referring to as the motion sensor earlier).

You will see that the switch that used to be for the interior sensor is now blank. It was a mid production change done in 2003.
