Default Iforge Senekas - go 18 or 19's?

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/75897/seneka.jpg"></center><p>Hey All -

So attached is a pic of the rim that I'm FINALLY going to order - after bouncing back and forth between everything under the sun - I'm at peace with my choice, well almost....I'm going to get these with the "Anthracite" Center/polished rim - still debating over the 18 vs 19. Most of you that have aftermarket wheels seem to favor the 19 and on both the Avant and Sedan, they look killer. Just looking for any final thoughts before I rape the piggy bank in the morning!

Default Where are you located?

If you in Boston or NYC I'd say go 18. Just because if your near major potholes then you are going to be kicking yourself later. Of course, meem would suggest otherwise, but he's simply a g-d when it comes to driving 19's in Boston.

Otherwise, I'd say go 19! They will look AWESOME. congrats on the decision!

And my bad Brent, wasn't thinking. ;-)

Default Normally I'd say 18's

But you've got quite a few things working for you to go 19. First, they are forged wheels, which should make them stronger than your average 19 and less prone to bending. Second, you've got power. On my B6 A4, the 3.0 just isn't strong enough and adding a heavy wheel to the mixture is just more trouble. With the S4, you shouldn't feel much of a difference in power. Finally, with the lip on those wheels and the center spoke design, the 18's might come off looking more like 17's. Going with the 19's gives you a nicer profile without going too crazy on the size. I would err on the side of not going too wide with the width, and run the correct size tire (235 series) and you should be fine. By far my favorite wheel in the Iforged line, though I would probably opt for a lighter silver (maybe brushed aluminum) center over the darker anthracite color. Can't go wrong either way.

Default How is that a hookup, out of curiosity

I've seen cheaper online by $200 for the 18s and $300 in 19s, polished centers.

I would love a hookup on Senekas, but not for that much
