Weight of B6 S4 Wheels???

Does anyone know how much one of the Avus 6-spoke wheels that come standard on the US model '04 B6 S4 sedan weighs (without tire)? Thanks.

Holy crap, batman!!! How much of that is tire, do you think? The wheels must weigh at least 40 lbs. each. That's asinine. The Nismo 5-spoke forged alloys that I run at the racetrack in my 350Z are about 16 lbs. apeice, and they are 18" x 8.5" front, and 18" x 9.5" rear (without tire, of course). It looks like you could shed almost 100 lbs. of unsprung weight, just by getting super lightweigt alloys.

OK. Still pretty heavy. Could save almost 50 lbs. of unsprung weight with lighter wheels. Still worth doing.

my 545R's are 27lbs...

going to have the 17.7lbs in the new HRE's.... should be really good on unsprung weight

What is the effect of removing the spare wheel?

1) 60 LBS lighter should improve accel.
2) Changes front to rear weight ratio. Would that increase understeer. Poorer handling in the twisties?
3) Will lighter rear make the back lift off therefore OVERSTEER???

Anyone have any experience???
