Default Milltek Non Res with DPs Vs. B&B with DP's?

I am considering getting the B&B's but noticed most on here are going with the Milltek. Is there a substantial difference between the two as far as HP gain or is it a sound preference? I have listened to the differences in a previous post but have not seen any comparisons as far as HP gain. Can anyone shed some light on this comparison?

Default well there has been proven gains with the Miltek...

plus if your going non-res with dp's thats gonna be loud. I think the sound of the milteks is deeper and louder then the other exhausts.

Default Only one reported by Jessenyc.......

Remember Miltek was out way before the B6 S4 came to the states and there could have been problems we never heard about.

The B&B was introduced here and Jesse basically had the first one. Plus Jesse turned out to have other issues with his car that caused him to trade it in.

I love my B&B and would recommend it to anyone who wants a quieter system, wants, IMO, the nicest looking tips available (no, not as big as the 100mm), and someone who wants something different then everyone else has.

I've heard both systems and drove them and the Miltek non-res full kit seems to be a little faster then my B&B, but I paid $1700 for my whole system where the Miltek DP's are almost $2000. The non-res full kit Miltek is also deffinitley was too loud for everyday driving for me. If I had a headace, I couldn't drive in it.

Default Yes, only one that I can think of. B&B looks like a very nice system.

So does the thermal. And Mark with Autospeed is coming out with a new system too.

But I have to say, that I got a great deal on my full system and I'm loving it. Full-back resonated definitely gives it some serious growl, but is not too loud at all. I find the system very polished, but as you say, you pay for it. The cats are sport cats, 200-cell count and really flow some air. I have to admit that I was a skeptic of the Milltek full-back system for a while, but having the knowledge and experience with the system now, I don't know what I was thinking before. ;-P

Glad to hear that your happy with the B&B system! Still have not heard anything else other then the Milltek in person. Then again, I've only seen two other S4's other than mine. Hopefully at Waterfest. :-)

Default Watched your Vid and liked the system

I think B&B is the authority in Porsche systems but I am impressed with what I have seen so far with regards to the S4 system. The money is not really a big concern. I am more concerned with the power increase. I personally (from the video files) like the B&B exhaust sound better but again, it is all about performance. I have asked B&B to provide me with some stats as to the performance increases in their system. We will see if they have some good results. It is a hard decision to make for sure. I wish I had the money to buy both and try them out and then make the decision as to which one I would keep. Of course that would be in a perfect world. Also, while living in this perfect world I would upgrade to the new RS6 as posted in the Road & Track I received today (pg 51 I think). I have got to say that is the meanest looking ride I have seen in some time. Can't wait for it to come out. Hopefully I will have the funds to upgrade when it does.
