A modified B5 S4 handed it to me!
I was on my way to Springfirld, Mass from NYC a few days ago with a colleague. We were making good time and on a nice stretch of road when a Nogaro B5 S4 catches my eye. We both ended up playing for a few minutes, sometimes into figures that were pretty high.
Anyway, the B5 and I were about level until the triple digits, where the B5 put 8-10 car lengths between us. The B5 S4 just kept pulling and was one very quick car.
It seemed modified and I saw puffs of smoke come out the back when he pulled away.
The only good thing? I've got a warranty!

Sounds like he just left it in 5th or 6th gear and mashed the throttle...
...at midrange RPMs he had a ton of torque that equaled your high RPM horsepower, but past 100, the B5 S4, likely with K04's and 400-460hp, absolutely left you for roadkill as it reached into the top of its powerband. That's my guess.

Thought as much - It took off like a rocket...
That was at 100 mph. I just read you're log and noticed you've got the Bridgestones now. I have lost 3 Conti's in 9000 miles in NYC. They're really bad tires.
