No Reverse / RS4 Single Turbo V8
My tranny became victim to the dreaded no-reverse disease this morning at 5400 miles.
While I was at the dealer, my rep said that Audi considered the bi-turbo RS4 but instead is going with a single turbo version for the 4.2L for 2005 in the US.
Will the Rs4 be reality and will my tranny need replacing? Only the future will tell...

Re: I have to agree with JD and i doubt you will see turbos in this chassis because there is no room
to keep them cool enough. Just not enough air flow through the engine bay. Audi first tried a 3.0tt but could never get enough air flow through the intercoolers to keep things cool. So i doubt they will use any turbos on the RS4 or the RS6 for that matter.It seems Audi is trying to get away from the use of turbos on the higher output cars. The new RS6 is rumored to be a 500hp N/A V10.
