I've seen you guys do nothing but TRASH...

the stock Continentals...

i have yet to really put them through their paces, as this may be where they show their dark side, but tonight on the way home from work, we were having some pretty heavy rain, and it was pooling up on the roads...

75mph down the highway and not even a hint of hydroplaning... felt rock solid... i was actually impressed by the tires tonight...

like i said though, i have yet to really dig into them through any turns though...

Well, vs. the S-03's I had on my B5...

I don't like the contis at all. Dry weather performance is what I want out of my tires. The S-03's have it, the conti's dont.

First sighting

Was @ Laurel Audi in Westmont, IL (Chicago burb) picking up my A4 from service and there was a '05 Dolphin Gray w/ Pirelli's on it, Rosso's I believe.

i thought the '05's were getting the Dunlops SP1's...?

That's what mine has.

My new S4 Avant tip has the SP1s on it. They seem to ride a little more softly than the Conti's did on my '04 S4 Avant. Haven't pushed them in a corner yet to see how they behave there.

I agree with you Diesel, but look at the bright side...

We may be able to pick up a cheap set of replacments when someone decides they are too good to have the Contis on from day one and sell them with little or no mileage!
