So I finally got to take some pics as I brought my camera with me as S4jones & I met up for some golf yesterday. Got a chance to check out his "other" car a nifty little Focus SVT with some goodies. (sorry deleted photo's)...I will say that for the $$ that car is one little screamer. Any ways I'd been yappin about posting photos's of the stereo "upgrade" as I call it, tint & a clean coat of wax, so without further adieu... here we go... nice night in Seattle, too bad they don't last the whole year!

the last is the section under the rear deck which has the 2 amps giving me 950 watts + the bose which is some 215 but all told it's probably around the 975-1,000 watt number, but then I don't care about the #'s I only can tell you having clean highs, tight mids' and solid bass is what's key! a very marked improvement.

Are you running on 18" wheels? Seems like alot of wheel gap. But it still looks good.

stock suspension.

Kim (S4jones) and others give me quite a hard time about it. but I'm happy with the set up and don't see my self getting 19's.

sure I'd love to, but hey, I had "issues" with modding the suspension on my b5 and yep, I've decided to just keep it as is.

sure it's a bit of wheel gap, but I never stress when going over a speed bump or pulling up a driveway the way I used to with my H&amp;R streets. Sure it'd look way better, but hey... I can't justify 3K for everything (install, coilovers, alighnment) just for a 1/2 inch drop.

You have only had the car for a short time now that i think about it.

 

IIRC, my old s4 settled a bit as time went on and from talking extensively with 2 people who've gone the H&amp;R coilover route, they WEREN"T impressed, they both went BACK to stock and realized for the ride height, it was really solid.

for me, if I could drop her 1/2 inch on springs that wouldn't wear out the shocks too fast, that I would do... b/c that'd typically be 225ish for springs, install &amp; alignment, aka a lot less! ;0)

 

just a set of srpings to drop about 3/4" with a tad more in the front...

if you hear anything gimme a shout... ;-)

 

there was however a little snippit from Pete @ strat about "springs only" 3 months ago.

might be in development, but as of now I know nothing.

I will let you know if I do find something out.

 

Thats the same route i'm taking as well but with a rear sway.

 

They will be shipping here soon. They will also be on my car soon(crosses fingers).
