For me, it's when it's cold. The engine, weather, etc. Goes away as soon as the coolant temp rises

Default The bum on the side of the road.
The first couple of times I heard it (started happening in the winter here in Berkeley) I thought there was this one homeless man screaming at me. It's very high pitched.
