Picking up my car on Tuesday, can the Sirius reciever be switched

To a XM reciever?

Sure, might be a cost to you. They might be able to do a swap for you.

If they won't you can buy an XM rcvr at Clairparts.com for ~$400 and swap yourself.

yes. same cost either way. if you do switch they can get a new unit

cause you havent actually bought the car yet HEHEH. If you don't (like I didnt - i got phatnoise), they give you $330 back.

Check carefully. A while back someone posted different part numbers for the two antennas, thus different shark fins. If the antenna isn't the right one, some say reception deteriorates.
