Bye Bye S2000.............Had a nice run at Lunch
For anyone who might be considering an S2000 over an S4 (can't imagine why, but if) I would highly recommend the S4.
Sitting at a light on this great weather day in Dallas and some punk pulls up next to me in his S2000. Music is blaring, top down and he is the coolest creature on the earth at that time..................until the light turns green.............
I knew he wanted to race so at changing of light (esp off, AC off, windows down) I go with standard launch to about 6k in first he is doing same. I switch to second and he rides first on thru whatever highest rpm's he could extract from the hamster wheel. Thru second I pull him at least 3 car lengths meanwhile I can hear him scratch from first to second and he is ragging the ever loving **** out of this car trying to keep up. I shift out of second into third at about 5500 rpm because I am at this point 5 car lengths ahead. The guy is still wailin back there though. The next light turns red so we both stop. He turns his music down looks over at me and says damn that thing is fast. I respond with a polite yep...........light turns green and I cruise home with the biggest smile on my face. I know it is not an extraordinary kill but certainly was a thrill providing some punishment on such a great day..........................

Nice. There's a BMW dealership down the street, and I'm always coming across...
the new 5-series and some 7-series on test-drives with customers. Those are fun.
But today there was a black 530i with a dealer in it. He was going somewhere. Bwahahaha. I still have some race gas in the car from the track...man that was sad. :-D
