Has anyone ever heard of something like this?
I bought my S4 about a month ago and today the sales manager at the Audi place says he f***D up the residual and he needs an extra $75 a month. he said the residual on 04 should have been 44 and not 52 which was in my contract. What should I tell the guy?

Crazy. I would tell him not your problem your not paying any more.
I would be tempted to tell him to **** off, but that probably won't leave you in too good of standing with that dealership. Just don't pay the extra $75 a month and tell them its not your fault/problem/etc. On a $50,000 they can deal with $75 a month.

1 little problem
The problem is that he was paying off the last 2 months of my A4 lease and was supposed to send me a check. He says he can't send me the check because AFS would not fund the deal. There fore, no check.

Tough. Dealer should eat the diff.
I had an Acura dealer try something like that with me. They gave me a 2.99% apr or whatever was the special at the time. I was back in the dealership a couple of days later and they told me that I'd have to resign a new contract at ~5% apr because that special rate was only applicable to regular Integras and not the Type-R.
Yeah right. I said I'm not signing anything new and if that was a problem they could have the car back. Salesman came back a few minutes later and said they'd just buy a lower rate and I wouldn't have to pay more. But I couldn't believe how they presented it to me, like I had no other choice except to sign a higher payment plan because they screwed up.
