anyone with a stealth install for a V1 in an avant? not for the remote display but the main unit.

yep, just mines on the "other"side (RIGHT) of the mirror.
FWIW, it was a bit easier for me to see, the way you had it sorta although not too much made my rearview not line up the way I liked it.

I can't do that...
I tried that, but my GF is blind as a bat, and hates prescription sunglasses. She therefore needs to use the sun visor. Well, she forgot to notice the V1 hanging there, and knocked it off the windshield. I now keep it on the driver's side...

I can't fit it above the mirror!
If you're saying what I think you are, there's no room. I have to place it somewhere where it blocks the use of the sun visor (which isn't a big deal for me).
I don't know if this has something to do with the fact that mine is a later build, or that I have the premium package without OnStar, but it won't fit in that space.

Never understood...
But what's the point of a "stealth" install for the display if the whole darn thing is in plain view? I mean the flashing lights are gone but if you get pulled over (heaven forbid) the darn thing is still in plain view. I'd rather have a remote sensor... Any such thing?
