Coding question
As part of my pre-delivery workout, I asked my dealer to code the computer to do the auto-lock at slow speed and to enable me opening the windows w/ the remote. The lock thing was OK but he said that opening the windows w/ the remote is not possible anymore (could do it w/ my '00 A4). Any VAG'ers out there no anything different?

My salesman said that they don't do it any more, because there were some people that supposedly came out after a rainstorm to find their windows opened. I guess they don't like the potential liability or whatever...
I had my friendly neighborhood vagman set it up for me. It works, but I do get strange behavior on the auto-up... every so often, the pinch sensor kicks on, and sends the window back down a couple inches. This also can happen when putting the windows up via the key in the lock, but never when using the window switches.

Well, at least I'm not alone...
My thought was that something strange happens with the limit switch... when the ignition is on, it works fine, but when it's off, it has issues.
The windows will work after turning off the ignition (before the doors are opened). I haven't checked yet to see if I can trigger the anti-pinch behavior in this case, but I did notice that auto-up doesn't work when the ignition is off. Don't know why...
