245 here, 255 would fit with the right offset.

how about a 38 offset.

Default Should be OK
I'm running an ET30 offset and the tire rubs once in a long while on compressions. My set-up puts the tire just about even with the fender flare. I would not recommend a 255 on a ET30 but on a 38 it should be about equal to what I have. I can't comment on how much clearance you'll have on the inside.
