Well after looking the tires over the fronts are the ones that are bad. The edge is very very worn. Whats the possibility that the water logging problems of the HRE's is what threw the alignment out. Just a thought since the water pooling problem seems to be worse on the fronts. The rears are wearing faster then I thought they would but they would still easily pass inspection. Any thoughts?

Do you have an alignment sheet from the dealer
Showing the specs at which they left the car? If so, that should tell you if their alignment job was right or wrong. If it was right, you need to look at some other causes like loose bolts or the like. Also, can you post a pic of the tires?

Sure I will post some pics in a minute.....
I am working on getting the allignment sheet through my body shop since they have all the paper work even though the dealer did the alignment and mechanical work on the car.

My edges went to $hit after a drive with the Norcal people, however these were the conti's
Are cars tend to eat up the edges, just because of their weight, suspsension, awd/understeer, etc.
Are you sure you're not making too big of a deal out of this? Did you not track these tires that have bald edges now?
I'm assuming your pressures were perfect.

That Looks Like
Normal track use wear when you don't have enough negative camber. The stock alignment does not provide for enough negative camber, especially in front. This explains why you didn't have any problems with the initial 4000 miles on the PS2's. Alignment problems usually surface within a few hundred miles of driving.

Looks Like Aggressive Driving
Audi's will show significant outside tire wear on front tires if driven hard (your pics looks like a day at the track). The car will do very well, but you'll pay a price in tires if you drive the car hard. The reality is hard driving equals short tire life.
If you are doing track days and/or really aggressive driving on the street you can go through fronts in very few miles. You can improve handling of the car by taking it to a good alignment company (not your dealer) and changing the camber for track use.

My bimmer will eat a set of tires in two or three days at the track and if you are running stock brakes you can figure on replacing those also.<ul><li><a href="http://www.georgewbush.com/">http://www.georgewbush.com/</a</li></ul>
