TPIWWP -> picked up my car from lidatek install shop tonight...
in the shop were: yellow gallardo, red modena 360, silver s8, some sort of swanky black benz which I didn't look at out of principal, and someone's GORGEouS NoGARo
Hats off to technik1 in NYC (PLUG) for doing a great job with the install and a very nice free detail...I'll be back
KamS4 - if you go there for yours, make sure you take a camera when you pick it up

$310, certainly on the higher side of costs for that sort of thing I imagine - however their service impecable and for us city dwellers it's all about convenience...:-)

I wish I'd had a camera with me - these guys do a v1/lidatek mirror install that is gorgeous !
they swap out the glass in the mirror putting the v1 arrows in the glass (similar to the compass) on the left side, the front v1 sensor is in the mirror, rear hidden in the back headliner somewhere, the v1 brain is buried up front somewhere....they set the lidatek to blink in the mirror also...all totally stock, looks fabulous
he showed me the ferrari oem mirrors that they have in stock, and his s8 was done also, very very nice indeed

Was the S8 install also in the mirror? I didn't know that was possible.
And are you saying they had to tear the V1 apart to separate the front/back sensors?
I installed the LE-30 and V1 myself, but I'd pay to have such a stealthy setup.

yea, when they saw my original set up, I was like this is the best I could do
something about it seems off though. They were like yeah, it doesn't look stealthy and professional. So I told them, show me, I"ll pay.

yes, the v1 is completely dismantled...
I'd recommend that you email or call Gus at technik1 and see if he could email you a picture of his s8 mirror, you've got to see to believe...he produced a brand new ferrari mirror that he had in stock with the arrows on it - it doesn't get more stealth than this...
oh, and the v1 **** can be installed wherever you want I guess - the s8 had it on one of the blank console switches
