Repost -- No Response. GIAC pump-gas vs. race-gas software:
Correct me if I'm wrong, but pump-gas is the program used with normal 91 octane, and the race-gas program is $100 extra for software that works with 93/100 octane? Please clarify. Thanks!

Race Gas Program gets you about 2HP 3Torque more Stage I in a Stage III setup
Its gets closer to 3HP 4 Torque. These numbers were from the first release of the software. From what I have heard the newer program could produce more then that.

I just installed APR software a few weeks ago. They have (had?) a special introductory deal where for the basic price you get everything - stock, 91, 93, valet, anti theft, security lockout, fault code erase, throttle body alignment.
There is currently no race gas (100 octane) program available for the B6 S-4.
I just leave it set on the 93 program and it is a noticible improvement over stock - throttle response, rev limiter, etc. In my opinion, very much worth the $$.
