Installed my Hyperflow last night (05 S4)

JD was right, there is a valve inside that looks like it is controoled by vacum. The strat instructions were very good, that big *** heat shield was hard to get in. There is no mention of that line in the instructions though, I just disconnected it form the valve in the stock air box and stuck a bolt in it to plug it. No codes, and I can feel the difference.

The strat kit should of had a plug for it....

if you pull off the end kinked peice it exposes a small couples. They include a little rubber nipple that fits over it. Also the instructions should of had some mention of the valve.

No mention of the valve

I bought the kit slightly used from setUout. It still looks new but I didnt see any plugs. I unhooked it from the box and stuck a bolt in it. Ghetto yes, but it works for now.

ahh setUout has an 04 so no kit included

Great.... it says 04+ on the sheet. no problem is that

the onlt difference betweenthe two kits?

I liked it..

then I couldnt tell the difference then I thought my car felt slower. I had to step back... I drove it again and it is definitley faster. I really like it.
