Door lock reprogramming possible on '05 S4?

I've had several previous Audi's and was able to have the computer reprogrammed to allow the remote to unlock all doors with a single click. I had it done on my '04 S4 when I got it last year.

I've tried to have the same reprogramming done on my new '05 S4.

The service manager claims that Audi has completely changed their computer system from last year, and they don't know how to access the appropriate menus to make the change. Has anyone else run into this problem? It all sounds like BS to me, but who knows.

You can still change that via VAG. The service manager is talking ****

I think you're right, but...

I'm looking to see if someone has actually done it on an '05. They *claim* the system is now different.

You can VAG it. I have an 05 S4, and did it.

Well yes audi has changed the computer system but not on the S4....

on the new A6 and A8L you need a different interface due to changes in how to interface into the car. But all B6 s4's can have the change made. Tell him you want it done or you will follow a complaint with Audi Customer Service since it says its possible in your owners manual.
