Default Muahaha....can your sedan do this?

Went to the local shop yesterday to get snow tires fitted. Brought along my B5's snow setup as well for a new set of tires, since 2 of them were bubbled from last winter's evil potholes. So, I ended up hauling home with me:

- 4 B5 Avuses with new tires mounted
- 4 18" summer tires off the B6 (Contis - blech)
- 2 17" Michelin Pilot Alpins with lotsa tread to sell to some lucky local

10 tires/wheels in all....and they all fit! Of course, 2 tires were in the front passenger seat (wrapped in plastic), and my view from the rear window was non-existent, but still.....I'm impressed. I knew there was a reason I got an Avant! =)

Default Ain't it great?

You should have seen it when Allan and I were at VIR. We had a tent set up, with a heater, a tarp full of ****, I had an extra set of wheels and tires there, we had an air compressor, air tools, torque wrench, spare rims, hot chocolate, clothes for three days, two jacks, jack stands, helmets, and everything else you need for the track. And we packed it all into two wagons and drove home at the end of the event. Now that's the life. ;-)

Yup - the joys of a wagon. After 2 B series sedans I knew I needed more hauling space.
