Default Gas guzzler tax on automatic S4
In case you guys havent heard there will be a gas guzzler tax on the Automatic S4 starting on cars built after December 17th. Dosent really effect the B6 cars since production has already ceased but the Cabriolets are still being produced and the new B7 autos will havt it as well. Cost on this new gas guzzler tax is $1300. Looks like theres more reason to get a stick now more than ever.

Default It was 1700 for us 6 speeds so consideryoursefl lucky!
but this car in tip is just well different... ;(

Was an E-mail from our area manager to the sales manager and sales staff. It's official and we will get updated order guides to verify it soon.

How about gas guzzler taxes on trucks/suvs? What's wrong with this country?

they probably lower the cost of the tip to adjust for the guzzler tax, just like 6 speed

Yeah, but they now have to pay $1300 on top of the $1,xxx for the slushbox...

Default Yet the Dodge Magnum with Hemi doesn't have it because its classified a TRUCK?
The S4 Avants meet and exceed the requirements to be classified a truck but we had to pay.
