Default Anybody get any speeding tickets lately?

Got my 2nd within 4 months and the the bitch part is I was just cruisin' along @ 76 in 55 like I would in a taurus. Just ordered a V1 'cause this is bull****! I mean, offramps are 35mph after coming off the highway. Has anybody ever tried going 35mph? It's pretty freakin' hard!

Default Stay out of Delaware, new low tolerance for speeding.

Oh yeah, 3 tickets in B5 S4 and 0 in B6 S4. The escort 8500 was the differance, no ticket when used.(That Virginia though)

Default say you have a v1 hardwired, can we just simply turn it off

or do we have to take it off and put it somewhere else (trunk) in VA?

Default My kid got a ticket for just being in the left lane and not passing!!

He was going the speed limit - cops saw a 19yo in a Mazda 3 and figured easy pickins. Must be a slow day - but isn't everyday in DE that way?

Default This is what I am doing eventually.....

wireing a cut off for the V1 and LE-30 into the glove box. Im not un-doing my hardwiring when I go through VA, thats BS. THey will be clearly un powered.

Default No disrespect intended, but...

I wish they would start pulling over more people who just casually driv in the left (passing) lane. It would make driving a whole lot easier and enjoyable. Too many people just meandor all over the road.

Default I couldnt agree more....

I dont like to pass people on the right and Normally I will sit behind someone in the left lane till they wake up but sometimes I do the old ricer pull by, drop it down a gear and roar past them. People who sit in the left lane drive me nuts, its my biggest pet peave. You should drive in the farthest right lane available. That means on an open road, yes you should be in the slow lane until you approach slower traffic or an on ramp. We should go to europes approach to driving, life would be so much better.

Default was told by a trooper who ticked me at the [construction area "mixing bowl"] on a MD to GA drive...

that even though the unit was sitting on my dash and turned off, it had to be stowed someplace "inaccessible."

It seems to be an American cultural thing. In Europe they only use the passing lane to pass.
