B5 S4 Stage 4 left me for dust again.....

I was driving home last night when I see an Audi approaching fast. It was just off the 95 and there was a clear 3 lane stretch and I was in the middle lane. Black B5 S4, he downshifts and so do I into 4th.

Bang, he's gone! I tried to keep up until the end of 5th gear when a car way ahead pulls into my lane.

Eventually I catch him up, he puts his window down and we chat briefly. He is an AW'er NYCS4 running K04's and stage 4.

Damn, those cars are lightning Porsche eaters!!!

My 2nd encounter with one. I know ppl say they aren't, but I've seen it myself.

I felt like I was standing with my gears running out quick.

Oh hell yeah, the 2.7 T is a highly tuneable motor. For another $15,000- $20,000...

investment, you can get 500hp easy. I've read
that is all the block can handle safely, but
their have been examples well over 500hp.

I can't tell if you're being serious or not...but a B5 Stage 3 (if that's what you're referring to)

is insanely fast. There is no stage 4.

K04s= Stage 3

there is currently stage 6 AMS/ACHTUNING.

mine will be stage 7.

A well running Stage III kit will be high 3's 0-60 and low 12's/high 11's in the quarter mile at 115

119 mph.

I spent less than 1/5 of that for my 500 hp.

That's the exception though, and not the rule. It can be done for half than that pretty easily though.

His car is a normal Stage III. It's quick, but there are plenty of quicker cars on the B5 side.

And yes, it beats 911 Turbos. I have a video on my website (at night, crappy footage) of walking another AW member's 996TT from 40-120 or so.
