Vredestein Wintrac pressure

Picking up 17 B5 S4 wheels with Vredestein Wintrac 225/45 17s mounted- searched the forums but didn't see anything special regarding what pressure to run. Anyone have any experience?

I've got the same tires on the same wheels....

I run the stock pressures (39/35) as spec'd by the door plate...

39!!?? Really?

Don't forget, those pressures are spec'd for the 18" wheels. You can drop it a few pounds for 17's.

Wow...I had no idea they spec'd 39/35 for the B6's. Seems a bit odd. How's the handling with 39 all around? Anybody tried it? I'll bet it's a blast!

I run 40 all around....

Was running 42/40 and tries 40/38 but 40 all around seems to be the best.

Mass, in effect, lowers tire pressures. So high pressures are stipulated to maintain response.

The door plate says the same pressure for 17" 225/45 winter tires as well
