Feeler: Supercharger for the 4.2 6 speed

Just trying to get a feel a for the demand for such a kit so we can motivate the tuners to produce a complete kit.

Dont know a single person who would purchase it if tuners are going to ask for stupid 20k pricetags

so far the only ones we have heard about have ridiculous costs involved (brand new P-car with warranty or a hopped up audi for the same price?.....hmmmm.....)

I for one would certainly be interested if the price was reasonable. I can see a beefed up clutch/new fly wheel, supercharger, and some beefed up internals all going for less than 10k.

Feel free to correct me if i am being unrealistic, but a basic, low pressure supercharger kit should give some respectable gains without needing to do 15k of internal work to the engine.

Considering the compression of our engines it would have to be low boost.

I'd guess no more than 5 lbs safely.

I'd just get an RS4 w/ full factory warranty if it was that much!

Maybe if by some miracle it was in the $5-8K range I'd consider it after my warranty is up, but it would have to provide some serious increases in HP and torque!
