Default Can anyone explain the difference between the 04/05 intake and exhaust...

What is the intake flap and where is it. Were the exhaust valves taken off the 05's? The valves were for opening different channels @ different RPM's for varying flow, I'm assuming?

Default Both intake and exhaust are diff...

Minor differences. The Exhaust no longer has the "flaps" that change exhaust note. Not sure what changes happened with the intake, but I hear that there were some minor ones.

Cheers.

Is that good or bad for 05's in the sense that, did the flap give it a better sound @ diff levels of power?

Real nice illustration. Thanks. It seems like it should be the other way around, w/ the flap opening under harder acceleration. So the 05 has d/c'd the flap; does that mean the system is more open in all conditions now?
